John E Murphy, III, D.O.
John E Murphy, III, D.O.
Dr. John Murphy, III, has been practicing family medicine in the Dayton area for many years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University and his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is board certified in Family Medicine with a special interest in sports medicine. Dr. Murphy is former Chief of Staff at Grandview Hospital and is a Clinical Professor at both Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Ostepathic Family Practitioners, the Ohio Society of the ACOFP, the Ohio Osteopathic Association, and the Ohio State Medical Association. He was named the Ohio College of Osteopathic Medicine's Family Practitioner of the Year and recently received the Master Faculty Award from Ohio University College of Medicine for excellence in teaching. He is on staff at Grandview, Southview, Kettering, and Sycamore Hospitals. His interests include coaching, teaching, hunting, fishing, and farming.

Dr. John Murphy IV, joined the practice in 2008. He received a Presidential Scholarship to Case Western Reserve University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, and he earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was honored as Emergency Medicine Intern of the Year during his residency program at Grandview Hospital. He is board certified in Family Medicine with special interest in pediatric and geriatric medicine. Dr. Murphy IV is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners, the Ohio Society of the ACOFP, the American Osteopathic Association, the Ohio Osteopathic Association,and the Ohio State Medical Assosciation. He is associated with Grandview, Southview, Kettering, and Sycamore Hospitals. His interests include sports, running, teaching, and travel.

Andrew Black, P.A-C
Andrew Black is a graduate of Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Andrew attended the Kettering College of Medical Arts, where he earned his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2009. He is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Andrew has received such awards as Who’s Who among Students in American Universities & Colleges (2009). He was also awarded the Clinton Trott, M.D., Recognition Award for Clinical Excellence and Professionalism. Andrew has practiced physician assisting in a family practice since 2009 and his experience with diabetic and geriatric care. He is also experienced in sports medicine and pediatric care. Andy is registered with the Ohio Board of Medicine and is credentialed with most all public and private health insurance companies.
Andrew lives in the Washington Township area, and is married with two sons . His interests include hiking, sports, reading, church activities, and spending time with his family.

Carissa Haines is a board certified nurse practitioner with Bellbrook Family Practice. Carissa graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, in 2005. She received her Masters of Advanced Nursing (N.P-C) from Wright State University in 2012. Carissa has previously worked as the Charge Nurse in the Miami Valley Hospital Cardiac Unit. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is credentialed with most all public and private health insurance companies. Carissa is married with two children and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Kimbra Joyce, D.O.
Kimbra Joyce, D.O.
Dr. Kimbra Joyce is a board certified family physician, has joined our practice as a full-time provider. Dr. Joyce recently completed her residency in Family Practice at Grandview Hospital after receiving her doctorate from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014. She is a Dayton native who graduated from Stebbins High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from Miami University and a Master in Public Health from Wright State University. Dr. Joyce is a member in good standing with the American Osteopathic Association, the Ohio Osteopathic Association, the Dayton District Academy of Osteopathic Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians, and the American College of Osteopathic Physicians. Her special interests include pediatrics, ostepathic manipulative therapy, women's medicine, and sports and community medicine. She enjoys being a mom, spending time with her family and friends, traveling, volunteering, and trying new foods.
